Cafeteria Table

In our new house in DECA subdivision, we set aside a place for a coffee shop. The room is almost done. What we need now are the accessories and appliances for this small business.
Timely when we search for furniture ,we came across the virco furniture . My sister is very interested of the two models, the folding cafeteria table and the convertible bench table. We have yet to decide which of the two models will be our best choice.
Sooner we will send our order .We have  trust and confidence about the quality of this product because of the length of experience in furniture industry.

Goal

Our phone bills for this month was so high again; $175 for the the cellphone and $206 for the land line. Oh goodness! There's nothing I can do, but pay it because I use it. I was calling my parents almost everyday when they were in Manila for their interview in the US embassy. I'm really hoping that they will be able to get a visa soon. I can't wait for my dad to be here because we can plan for projects for our farm in the Philippines. First of all I would like to buy a trash pump because I know they needed it there. This is probably what we have to focus first because it is important to take care of those trash and it needs to be dispose properly.

New Furniture

I can't wait to get my new furniture at the end of this month. It is a a sofa set that will match the theme color of our home which is earth tone. I have to upgrade our living furniture because one of them is broken and I just used one of my husband's toggle clamps. Those things work really good. I am thinking of buying more toggle clamps at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware because they come in handy for my wooden furniture. I realized most of my furniture are made in wood. I just like it because it made our home more homey and inviting.

Spring

I thought Winter is over but it actually just started. I've been here in the states for more than five years now but I'm not still familiar with the season change. Last December it wasn't really rainy. But lately it has been raining almost everyday and the weather is gloomy. But in the stores, they are already marking down the Winter products and they are ready to display Spring products, even garden furniture and flower seeds. It's amazing how time flies so fast. That's why we just have to enjoy each moment.

Road trip

I want to look into rv financing because I am considering buying an rv. I'm hoping that I will be able to keep my job after the probationary period because I really want to buy and rv. This is gonna be a good investment because it will help us a lot when we go on a family vacation. We are a big family so when we  go somewhere it cost us a lot of money when we check in hotel. Whereas when we have an rv, we are able to just sleep in there and cook our own meal. I'm sure the kids will be excited about this plan and my husband will really be proud of me if I can make this happen.

Indoor

Here in Crescent City, we don't have outdoor pool that is open for the public. Unlike in the Philippines, you can see swimming pools everywhere. Probably some people have their own swimming pool here and they just use an automatic pool cover when it's Winter time because obviously it won't be use for more than three months or so. I'm just glad that we have an indoor pool nearby where the kids can just go swimming anytime they want. But still, most of the time the water is still cold but I'm surprised how the kids ignore the cold water. I guess the longer you soak in the water, your body produces heat and you will be able to tolerate the cold water.

Cleanliness

It's getting really cold each day. Now my asthma is back. This sucks because it's very uncomfortable when I'm coughing all the time. I'm just glad that we were able to get new carpets and a good quality vacuum. When it's raining everyday, sometimes the carpet get really messy and people can't shampoo their carpet because it's hard to dry them because there is no sunshine. On emergency situation, let say you have parties coming up and you need your house to be spotless, you can hire a carpet cleaning durham nc because they do good quality job and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Being Here With Them

Post contributed by Leonard Phelps

There’s nothing you could say to me to make me think that being a stay at home mom isn’t the hardest thing in the world. I’ve got twin boys and a three year old girl and I don’t know a single person including my husband who’s as tired as I am at the end of the day! Between nap times and laundry and calling TOTALALARMSYSTEMS.com and making lunch for everyone my days get away from me really fast although I love being able to be here all the time for the little ones. I feel like they’re learning so much on a daily basis and that they’re really getting to bond with me on a different level than before. I certainly don’t miss work and the 8-5 grind and the pressures that came with that although I hate that sometimes my husband has to work late to afford us this opportunity. I just feel like if you’re going to have kids it’s your responsibility to raise them so I don’t want to send them to a daycare!

Camping

We were camping last night, just me and the kids and just in our backyard. But it was fun. We woke up with the sound of the misty rain. It was pretty cool because it was very cozy inside the tent. But we really have to do the real camping or rent a cabin in the middle of the woods and just let the kids enjoy the beauty of nature. I want then kids to experience what I have experience back home. Here in our place where we are very close to Six Rivers Forest and other camping sites, you can find many cabin with beautiful cabin furniture . When you stay there, it makes you feel so relax and it's amazing. It breaks you back in time where there's no cellphone, iPod, and other latest entertainment. In there you just have to enjoy life with it's own natural beauty. Amazing!

Kirby Vacuum and Carpet Shampoo System

My husband bought a new Kirby Vacuum and Carpet Shampoo System today. At first I was hesitant because it's expensive for a vacuum. It's close to $2000 for the whole set but we got a $200 back for the trade-in of our old vacuum. When the salesman demonstrate how to use, we are impressed, especially my husband. Honestly, it's a very good vacuum. We shampooed our carpet, in the living room. It looks new again. At the end of the day, I think for the price it's all worth it. I think it's a good idea buying this kind of vacuum. It's a pretty good investment.

Extra Storage

We only have a two car garage. As of now, only my husband's truck can fit in it. My poor car is always park outside. I always teased my husband way it has to be his truck that has the privileged to be park inside the garage. But of course, I won't let him parked it outside either. His truck is like his baby. It's always clean and most of the parts like tires and lights are customized that's why it's eye catching. That's why we need extra storage. I was thinking about those metal buildings that are being built as mini storage, residential buildings or even recreational buildings. One of my friend have this one built at the back of their house. It looks so cool that their sons love to hangout there. That's why they built a many kitchen there. It is also warm and cozy. These metal building are also leak free most especially if you purchased if from a steel building specialist just like the Olympia Steel Building.

Keeping It Clean

Tomorrow, my husband will go back to work after 6 weeks of Annual leave then the kids will go back to school. I will be very busy as a bee. These past few weeks I feel like a princess because my husband did most of the chores, from cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping. I'll have to adjust again with the busy schedules. Good thing that the bathroom faucets were all fixed if not it will take another 3 months before it will be taken cared of. I love to get a handheld shower for the kids' bathroom. It will be easy for me to rinse their hair. I found nice ones at faucet.com.

One More

I thought I'm already done with my Christmas shopping but I realized that I need to get a bedside lamp for my husband. It's been awhile that his touch lamp was broken. This is the third time that we replace his bedside lamp. We must have bought the cheap kinds. I haven't bought a new one yet because I couldn't find the perfect one yet. I found a nice one at American Home Plus. They have this Tiffany lamp that is cheaper than the other sites. I might get that one for my husband. I found some nice ceiling fans in their site too that will match with the designs in our bedroom. They offer free shipping for orders above $195 so I might order both so I can save money.

Laundry Time

Yey, it's Friday. How time flies so fast. Sometimes I like, sometimes not. It depends on the circumstances. Now, I'm excited because it's the finale of the soap opera that I've been following. And I have to do laundry today. I know that not all people like it but me, doing laundry is my favorite chore and that includes folding. I'm just glad that our laundry room in the house is big enough for me to hang-out there but it's just that I'm annoyed with the noise from the bathroom fan. I should not whine about it though because it's a great help in eliminating the bad odor from the soiled clothing. In fact, I'll buy more of these and send it to the Philippines for our bathroom there. I know they can buy it there but I trusted the quality of the products that are bought here in America.

Home Sweet Home

If I have to choose between staying at home or going outdoors on my free time. I choose to stay at home. At home I can do a lot of things such as cleaning the kitchen, the bathrooms and bedrooms, do laundry and redecorate the house. I want my house to be clean all the time. It gives me peace of mind when my house is not cluttered. Having toddlers in the house is a disaster sometimes. But it's no big deal to me. I don't mind picking up after their mess. Right now, I'm just happy how my home looks like.Last Tuesday, I got myself a new computer desk.Another addition to my log furniture. I like furnitures that are made out of wood. It's more homey and cool.
