Every year the Chamber of Commerce in Crescent City will give an award to a deserving pupil within this city in the elementary department. Chosen as awardee of the year is the pupil from Bess Maxwell Community School. Bianca Peters a grade v pupil was chosen as awardee for the year 2013. She received a cash value of $ 100. items and a certificate of appreciation.
This is a nice program because this will encourage children to participate in bringing up the good moral practice and to develop among themselves the positive approach to the people around them, and to practice and learn the good moral habits and to be a model in todays generation.
