Tracking device

It was my first time to ride in an ambulance. It was when they are heading to their station after bringing a patient to the hospital. One of the onboard EMT asked if they could pass a drive through at Mcdonalds. The head EMT said that they cannot and I asked why. She explained to me that they are allowed to have a stopover at different hospitals only. She told me that the ambulance have a gps review that could track them down wwherever they will go.I was just amaze since it was my first time to hear about that GPS.
